You could help a young person in your community get a scholarship for higher education

Nominate a student for an AWC Center for Quality Communities Scholarship by March 10!

CQC scholarships are for outstanding young leaders in Washington’s cities and towns. Your city has the opportunity to nominate one young leader who plans to attend college or a trade school in fall 2017. Six $1,250 scholarships will be awarded in May.

The AWC Center for Quality Communities is a 501(c)(3) organization, sponsored by the Association of Washington Cities, to promote civic engagement and provide the public with a better understanding of the role that cities and towns play in Washington. Scholarship funds were raised during AWC’s 2016 Annual Conference when city officials from throughout the state pledged to invest in young leaders – the future of our communities.
